The association „Kunst+Handwerk vom Künstler“

With the choice of the name of our association, we want to express our philosophy:

In our work, we combine [+] quality [art] and quantity [craft]. The idea, the manufacturing and also the sale come from one person [from the artist].

We thus understand the word handicrafts in its original sense. Unique items and small series of articles are made by hand from various materials according to our own designs.

In this way we draw a line between our work and commercial handicrafts (machine-based and industrial manufacturing) as well as designers who only design.

As a non-profit organisation, we promote the visibility of artistic and handicraft work. Increasing the appreciation of handicrafts in our society is also one of our objectives.

Our website is a part of this visibility, and offers people who are interested the opportunity to inform themselves about the diversity of our association.
