Eva-Maria Sieczkowski - Painting on Glass
I was particularly taken by art nouveau, which can be seen in the motifs on my glassware. In addition, and particularly since I have been in Vienna, I have been influenced by the painting and architecture of Hundertwasser. This inspiration has allowed me to present my artistic skills in Paris, Florence, Bergamo, Livorno, Burghausen in Germany, and of course throughout Austria.
From every journey I have taken a bit of inspiration with me for my motives. For example, one can also find 500 year-old Florentine elements on some of my glasses. In Paris I was particularly impressed by the glass painting in Notre Dame.
Every year I extend my assortment with new glass objects such as vases, candleholders and tea light holders, as well as with new artistic elements.
Each glass is a unique item, as I do not used fixed templates, but let my hand be guided by inspiration. I use a special glass paint which I apply with a precise technique. Finally a relief is applied in various tones of gold, with which I complete the work of art.
